Definition
You can use this authorization object to control maintenance of variant
functions.
You can define in a user master record which activities are allowed for
the user.
In addition, the
restrict maintenance to specific variant functions. To do this, you
enter an authorization group in the basic data of the variant function.
The function can then only be maintained by a user that has this
authorization group in their user master record.

A user with this user master record can only create, change, and
display variant functions with authorization group 100.
