Definition

You can use this authorization object to define authorizations for any
input fields in master data maintenance. Depending on the field values,
you determine which fields in the master data may be maintained in
Customizing by defining an authorization type and specifying the names
of the fields to be checked.
Notes:
This authorization is optional. It needs not be assigned if there are
no master records that require special protection and for this reason
no authorization types were defined in Customizing.
For the field “Authorization Group” there is a separate authorization
called “Master Data: Authorization Group”.
